Become a mentor
About two hours per student, spread over a month. You pick how many students at a time, and you can pause any time.
You don't need a project to mentor on. Many requests will be career conversations: how you got your first role, whether to go in-house or to a firm, what the Bay Area market looks like right now.
Request a mentor
Students and early-career people can request a mentor once the list opens. The request asks where you are, what you want from the conversation, and the one question you most want answered. That question is what we match on.
FYP is home to People & Purpose, a Bay Area community of professionals working on social and environmental impact, and its members are the first mentors here. We're describing a community we're part of, and we've tried to be as straight about it as we are about everyone else.
