A Pollinator Workday, Hiring Help and Kids in Nature: Your Charlotte Impact Week, October 19 to 25

A pollinator workday at Tuckaseegee Arboretum, Repair Café and Circular Saturdays at Innovation Barn, Kids in Nature Day at Reedy Creek, and hiring, digital skills and resume sessions with Charlotte Works, Goodwill and the Latin American Coalition.

Three things stand out this week. On Saturday, Wild Ones, City of Charlotte Landscape Management and Constructive Plant Rescue open the pollinator garden at Tuckaseegee Arboretum & Gardens to volunteers, while Innovation Barn hosts Repair Café and Circular Saturdays a few miles east. On Sunday, the Charlotte Wildlife Stewards bring Kids in Nature Day to Reedy Creek Park, free and with no registration. Earlier in the week, Charlotte Works, Goodwill Southern Piedmont and the Latin American Coalition run hiring, digital skills and resume sessions from Monday to Wednesday.

Eighteen events this week. Six are free and open to anyone, one is free to join with meals at your own cost, one is a free webinar with a suggested donation, one is a paid conference, and nine list no price, so check the event page before you go.
